The trip to number 10 Downing Street. I loved every single bit, even on the train we had fun. when I got home I saw myself on television it was glorious. I shook David Cameron hand. It was the best day of my life. These are the words he said a bout coding…. “Thousands of maths and physics teachers will get specialist training to help raise the quality of teaching in schools and the first ever national college for digital skills and coding will be set up to train the digital innovators and technology experts of tomorrow” That speech had a real effect on me and that made my mind up when I’m old enough I shall be a coder(with no doubt).

I loved this trip too Nahom and Fatma! It was really exciting to hear the Prime Minister say that, “One of the things that will determine whether a country is successful or not in the future is whether Maths, Science and, crucially, Computing are taught in a modern way”.

I am glad to hear that his speech had an effect on you Nahom, you are already an excellent coder, keep up the good work!

    Miss Bates 🙂
